As hems rise at the front
hems lower at the back.
This new seasons trend gives us a very happy medium between showing too much leg and looking like a hoochie mama or showing none and feeling like a nun. If this is how you are feeling this summer, hoochie or nunish, try the
tail hem
on a skirt or shirt!
For those who enjoy a little history when it comes to their fashion:
a tail hem on a shirt was traditionally shorter on both side seams and had a longer tail than front. - very similar to most mens work shirts today
However, contemporary trends have transformed the look to generally be shorter at the front & longer at the back
Fashionising:
"These hems fill the void between mini & midi;
or between midi & maxi.
They cover yet expose"
This style is a very fresh & playful look, perfect for the new year, the warm sun & summer breeze!
