I was lucky enough to be a promoter/hostess for the night on tuesday 7th at the Audi launch of their new A8 model. The Audi event took place of the beautiful Carridgeworks in Chippendale and was a great night. As one of the hostesses i was privileged to be dressed in a Collette Dinnigan dress!!! Some of the guestlist included A-listers Collette (of course), Ian Thorpe, Jennifer Hawkins, Matt Moran and Alisa Camplin, all audi ambassadors.
This event has been publicised by Vogue:
It was déjà vu for Myer model Jennifer Hawkins who returned to Sydney’s CarriageWorks for an Audi event only weeks after the department store’sspring/summer launch.
This time Hawkins was able to remain fully dressed and didn’t need to walk the runway, with an Audi on hand to take her where she needed. Hawkins was joined by other Audi ambassadors Collette Dinnigan, Olympian Ian Thorpe, chef Matt Moran and Alisa Camplin for the unveiling of the new A8 model.
The choice of music, with Jon Stevens, Richard Clapton and Glenn Shorrock performing, shows that Audi hope the vehicle will become an enduring Australian classic. Providing a less golden oldies approach to the evening was Dinnigan who contributed a drawing demonstrating Audi’s philosophy ‘The Art of Progress.’
You can quiz Dinnigan on her own design philosophy tonight at David Jones for Fashion’s Night Out.Source: Vogue.com.au
