editorial #10 - Come As You Are

COME AS YOU ARE BY GREG KADEL FOR VOGUE AUSTRALIA SEPTEMBER 2009

‘COME AS YOU ARE’ editorial with Abbey Lee and Catherine McNeil photographed by Greg Kadel and styled by Naomi Smith for Vogue Australia – 50th Anniversary Issue – September 2009.

  The title of this editorial "Come As You Are" suggests the collection shows us life and beauty in its simplest form, with nothing to hide.  The first page shows us this with Abbey Lee and Catherine McNeil wearing lace bodysuits sprawled on the grass.  I think the choice of models was amazing.  I am personally in love with Abbey Lee and Catherine McNeil is also stunnign

 The first being Abbey Lee is one of the models in the editorial and she is absolutely stunning, as is Catherine McNeil.  I am also loving lace at the moment which plays a central role in this ed.  

Love this 70's inspired leather skirt 

This photo (the photo on the right) is probably one of my favourites in the editorial.  The touch of pale pink in the netting is so subtle and so beautiful.  That tiny bit of colour makes the photo so much more interesting than if it was all monochromic colours.

This photograph on the left is so beautiful.  The fact that it is black and white and that the focus of the shot in on the models faces and upper-body makes the shot very interesting.  Especially because the viewer has no setting or background to focus on.  Not to mention both of the models and amazing and have the most stunning bodies.

Love these two photographs above.  Even though they don't necessarily fit in with the rest of editorial obviously they are still amazing stand-alone images.  In the second photograph i love the mint dress and matching mint eyeshadow.
